And award season has begun! Hitting of the season filled with glitz, glamour and lots of glittering jewels, last night’s Golden Globe red carpet did not fail to disappoint.
With some of Hollywood’s starlets making their entrances in stunning dresses and jewels by some of fashion’s most influential designers, here are 10 of the most stunning pieces of jewellery at the Golden Globes 2016.
5. Cate Blanchett
Topping our list of fashion risk takers, Cate Blanchett wowed everyone as she glided down the red carpet in a stunning blush pink Givenchy couture design. Calling her dress a ‘creature’ the fringe ensemble was paired with gorgeous jewels from Tiffany & Co.
4. Lady Gaga
Bringing old Hollywood glamour to the show, the pop icon made her entrance draped in 210 carats of Neil Lane diamonds, paired with a black velvet Atelier Versace gown.

Bringing a whole load of razzle and dazzle, the starlet looked absolutely svelte in a shimmering pink Dolce and Gabbana gown. Instagraming all the dreamy details of the gown from every angle, the floor-sweeping dress was paired with sugary Norman Silverman chandelier earrings.

In comaprision to her bold fashion sense, Jennifer Lopez dazzled everyone in a canary Giambattista Vali gown paired with stunning pieces from notable designer, Harry Winston. Dripping in approximately 200carats of diamonds, the songstress was adorned with layers of jewellery that included a platinum bracelet, two diamond rings, a pair of yellow diamond drop earrings, and a magnificent cluster wreath necklace layered over a cascading drop diamond necklace.

The nights most talked about fashion moment, Jennifer Lawrence arrived at the award ceremony in a magnificent oblique-baring scarlet Dior gown, topped with a glittering Chopard necklace. Said to be a whopping 156.77 carat diamond stunner set in 18K white gold, the necklace from Chopard’s ‘high jewelry collection’ was paired with a ‘L’Heure Du Diamant’ ring that featured .25 carat ruby and an 18K white gold ring 1.58 carats of diamonds.
